Stretchvests are available in three sizes. Race vests may be ordered in sets of 1 - 10 or 1 - 8
for Australia and New Zealand, 1 - 8 for the USA or 1 - 6 for the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Stretchvests have been used at Victoria's premier racetracks, Sandown Park and The Meadows, since
March 1999 following extensive trials during 1998.
The 13 remaining Victorian tracks joined in September 1999. Since that time 98 greyhound tracks
across Australia, New Zealand, America and Sweden have commenced racing in stretchvests.
The Racing and Promotional Vests are produced from an Australian made polyester elastaine fabric which
containes lycraŽ. This type of fabric allows the stretchvest to fit the body of the greyhound without the requirement
for snaps, ties or Velcros as well as accentuating the athletic build of the racing dog.
Sponsors across Australia and New Zealand have recognised the huge marketing potential of the vests
with 28 tracks now incorporating sponsor logos on each shoulder of their Stretchvests.
The printing method used creates an extremely bright, glossy finish which is highly visible on
course and photographs brilliantly.
Any colour may be printed, in any combination and contain whatever text numerals and/or graphics that are
required. Trial vests are available in pre-dyed nylon and polyester elastaine, in an extensive range of plain colours and maybe
ordered individually in all sizes.
